I feel dumb asking...

but what exactly do consignors, buyers, etc. mean when they say a foal is "very forward". Is it a physical term or does it jut refer to a foal growing into itself early? I have heard it alot this week and realized I didnt know exactly what it meant. Thanks!

It usually means the foal is mature for his age.
