April Two-2YO in Training Sale

Postby Slew83 » Wed Jan 14, 2009 12:57 pm

Since the January sale has taken a hit, how will the April Two-2YO in Training Sale at Kenneland do. How low will the prices be for the sale?[/quote]

My guess is that for all shows this year, we will see a 40-60% decline across the board. If the global economy recovers in the second half of '09, my guess would be slightly better numbers for all sale in '10.

I am guessing/predicting the % decline will be smaller at the two-year-old sales.

I agree with you. These horses are theoretically are closer to the action and making money. One reason that the price of broodmares fell off the cliff is the lag time and the uncertainty in the market place right now. But a good two year old should still sell.
