Congratulations hpkingjr!

A 2YO Oflee Wild colt bred by hpkingjr brought $300,000, the 5th highest price, last night at the first day of the Keeneland April 2YO sale. The colt was bought by Buzz Chace--who was overheard to say that he'd loved him as a yearling and wished he'd bought him then--for West Point Thoroughbreds.

Way to go! And here's hoping that he does his family proud on the racetrack. :)

And Buzz's connections should give that horse a great chance to succeed. Congratulations!

Thanks for the very nice compliments one and all.

A Loose Kisser is booked to Discreet Cat at Darley for 2009. Hopefully the future bodes well for her.

An Offlee Wild for $300K? I still wouldn't breed my Mother-in-law to him for free!

Fortunately others have felt differently as Heavenville, Oflee Wild's first runner ever, won his first race by 4 and 1/2 lengths at Keeneland yesterday.

Offlee Wild agrees and said he wouldn't breed your mother-in-law unless he could borrow the teaser's equipment for the cover.
