like to do this from time to time, go back over yearling sales and see how all of the million dollar babies of year's past are doing that everyone gushes over as can't miss prospects. I did the 2006 keeneland september yearling sale which was probably IMHO the peak of the yearling bubble with some of the prices, as you will see. it gets crazy.

CH .C. A.P. Indy -- Serena's Song $1.5 mil (Spark Candle)= Bestt known for being quite possibly the most impecciably bred rabbit ever. Was Casino Drive's rabbit in the peter pan.







DB/BR.C. Vindication -- Serena's Tune $2.8 mil (vocalized)= 4 out of 6 lifetime over in europe 2 group 3 wins, still racing





CH .C. Mr. Greeley -- Silvester Lady (GB) $5.7 mil (nawakhida)= ended up over in dubai, but never really am ounted to much from what I understand.



B .C. Fusaichi Pegasus -- Squawk $1 mil (thoth) - can't find any records anywhere, assuming never mad eit ot the track




CH .F. Seeking the Gold -- Take Charge Lady $3.2 mil (charming)= just really hit the track not too long ago. won debut at keeneland, came in 2nd in a allowence race, but came in 10th in her stakes debut in the serena's song stakes.




DB/BR.F. Storm Cat -- Warrior Queen $2.2 mil (EGYPTIAN QUEEN) = never raced






GR/RO.C. Unbridled's Song -- Wild Heart $1.0 MIL (Unbirdled's heart)= here is an interesting story. broke his maiden about a year ago today, give or take, in an absolutle rump by about 10. he was supposed to be the next best thing in racing. Um.. yeah. not so much. hasn't won since. always on the board, but considering teh amount of talent he flashed, he hasn't shown anything resembling that flash in the pan

actually raced in the 8th today at belmont and was the odds on favoraite, and barley held on for 3rd place. not looking good.



CH .F. Unbridled's Song -- Win Crafty Lady $2.3 MIL (Perect chance)I can't find any records, assuming never raced




CH .C. Mineshaft -- Better Than Honour 950K (Casino Drive)= I would consider this one to be a success, albeit an overhyped one. Grade 2 winner of the peter pan by open lengths in US Debut. Raced in the breeders cup classic, the dubai world cup as well as the japan gold cup.




B .C. Distorted Humor -- Emotional Outburst $1.05 mil (understatement)= broke maiden at first asking at gulfstream,and while he was always an allowence horse, never really was anything more. I say was, he's still racing. last time out was in the carter handicap where he finished 7th. lifetime earnings right at 100k



DB/BR.C. Dynaformer -- Extry $1.05 mil (Dynamalt) = took him about 7 chances to finally break his maiden and hasn't won since. has been gelded. last time out was 5th in an allowence optional claimer at santa anita. I don't think it will be too long before he's in for a tag.



DB/BR.C. A.P. Indy -- Garden Spot $1.0 mil (kindred)= can't f ind any records, assuming never raced.






CH .F. Storm Cat -- Myhrr $1 MIL (catmosphere)= showed potential, broke down in 2nd race and was put down






DB/BR.C. Danzig -- Sharp Minister $9.2 MIL (Plavius)= Never won a race but has come in 2nd twice, one being in a stakes race.



Vindication -- Silvery Swan 4.6 MIL (maimonides)= another interesting story behind this one. was the cause of a bi coastal conterversy when Zayat took his toys and went elsewhere when del mar would not fix the track to his liking. and this colt along with J Be K where his toys, and went to Saratoga. Story made even bigger when maimonides absolutly romped home in his first start the spa. next race was the hopeful where he was a hard fought 3rd to Majestic Warrior. Hasn't raced since, but is in training with dutrow.




B .C. Storm Cat -- Snow Forest 1.9 MIL (catmando) = I can't find any records, but i'm sure he's raced. either that or I'm crazy. I keep hearing John Dooley say t his horses name in my head. Maybe I watch too much racing.




Storm Cat -- Strategic Maneuver 1 MIL (stalking shadow) = 4 for 8 lifetime with lifetime earnings under 100k




Seeking the Gold -- Tee Kay 1.9 MIL (artic mist)= can't find any records, assuming has never raced



Empire Maker -- Top Rung 1.45 MIL (Aqab) = broke maiden for 30k tag. now racing at delaware as of 3 days ago in 35k company (and not hitting the board)


CH .C. Giant's Causeway -- Happy Tune 1.55 MIL (time's gone by)= broke maiden at first asking at del mar,, last time out was 2nd in an 80k allowence OC at hollywood park on the turf on the day before holloween last year. 3 starts, lifetime earnings under 100k


DB/BR.C. Storm Cat -- Victory Ride 1.55 MIL (tawaash)= can't find any records, assuming has not hit the track




DB/BR.F. Storm Cat -- Welcome Surprise 3ML (suprises welcomed) = has raced but not a winner from what i can find. has not raced in the US that much I am pretty sure of. was sold as a boordmare prosepct in 08.




Danzig -- Al Theraab (egyptian hero) 5.2 MIL= can't find antyhing on him but being that he's by dazing and he's owned by tabor and company it's not unthinkable that the horse is in europe racing. with that said, still can't find antyhing and it doesn't look good for the price.




Kingmambo -- Crown of Crimson (meydan city) 11.7 MIL = Actually not a BAD horse. Not anywhere near worth 11.7 million but he should be / is a useful allowence/lower calibur stakes horse.





Mineshaft -- Dear Birdie (birdshot) 1.7 MIL= half to bird town and bird stone. hasn't raced.




Giant's Causeway -- Dissemble (giant amount men) $2.6 mil= I'm pretty sure he races overseas, he's owned by derrick smith who races alot in ireland, he's by giants cuaseway and he's a half brother to one of the best turf milers of this decade. make sense to be overseas. but from what i can find he isn't his half brother

Squawk's Fu Peg wasnt even named, so I'm assuming he broke down or got hurt in training..

Warrior Queen's 04 was Egyptian Queen, her 05 was Desired, both unraced.

Catmando never raced.

Artic Mist never raced

Surprise welcome never raced, but a unraced storm cat mare being sold as a broodie prospect.. there is a shocker..
