Did you see the man who bid 1 million when she was at 50k, no one else bid. They found out later he was drunk, didn't establish credit and they escorted him off the grounds..........she went through the sale again and brought 300k.

Yeah, poor girl. He goes and screws around which I'm sure made Denali really happy. I dunno the names of those guys on the podium (I'm relatively new at watching these things live online) but they sure are doing a nice job.
How did #198 and #200 shake out? I had to step out for a few minutes and missed them. I also couldn't tell if Lukas got that Storm Cat colt for $2.8 mil or if he let him go. I figured out he was one of the bidders before they mentioned it at the end just from the mention that someone who trained some of the best Storm Cats was in. Who else? Yup, Mr. Lukas.
Assuming #213 is still in, that should be a fun one having not seen the yearling in question (alas not at Saratoga, not for lack of daydreaming). A Storm Cat - Platinum Tiara filly. Her sibs haven't blown em out of the water but SC's winding down. They might not want to let her go for nothing if she looks nice and who doesn't want a dose of SC-filly-crazy? I happen to be a Cozzene fan so I'd love it to see him keep on keepin' on as a broodmare sire.
ETA:Pretty impressive attempt to fall asleep while walking around the ring. She must've liked the drone of the auctioneer.

#198 went to Robert & Lawana Low for $300K. Baffert got the Encosta for $500K.

He backed down & Ferguson - or, rather, the Sheikh - got the colt. This despite the gent on the podium trying to goad Lukas into bidding $3mil.
