There are 145 entries in the All Ages Sale this year. The sale will be held at Crossroads Arena in Cloverdale, Indiana. Everyone is encouraged to come Monday, October 5th to inspect the horses and visit with the vendors. There will be a BBQ dinner that night, and several area hotels are offering discounted rates to sale goers that evening. The sale will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6th.

All sale information, a complete online catalog, vendor information, lodging information, and facility information can be found on this page: http://itoba.com/All%20Ages%20Sale%202009.htm

There is some pretty nice stuff in there this year!! I am going to try to make it up there. Questions...

Same Place - Crossroads Arena, Cloverdale?
There's no hip #22 in the book... and #123 and #124 are the same horse. So there is really 123 horses?
On the weanlings and yearlings that are listed "Indiana bred and sired eligible" what are the further requirements to get the "bred" designation? Can they leave Indiana on the day of the sale without losing their eligibility?

Yes, this is at the same place. Hip #22 is a Quarter Horse... I just pulled up the online catalog and it was there for me, but it's in with the QH's (Hip #'s 1 - 22,) before the Thoroughbred intro. page. 123 & 124 are different horses, but they are full siblings. 123 is a 2006 model and 124 is a 2005 model. So, there are really 145 horses entered; 22 are QHs and 123 are TBs.

As for the "eligible" notation, that means all of their requirements are met but the IHRC has not received their final paperwork yet. By sale time, most if not all of those will probably have their paperwork turned in. If not, it's FREE to register a foal as an IN bred as long as the eligibility requirements are met and the paperwork is turned in before the horse is one year old, so it's just a matter of getting that form turned in. They can absolutely leave the state; their eligibility has already been determined.

It should be a really nice sale this year; I think we're going to get TV coverage of the event as well as coverage by Midwest Thoroughbred Magazine.

Past performances are now available for the two late entries. They are here: http://www.itoba.com/srg_pp1.pdf

Also, Hip No. 104 is OUT

And a correction: Hip No's 47, 50, 58, 67, 81, 90, & 118 are bred to CUP OF RAIN, not Rainmaker. Cup of Rain's reference page is here: http://www.itoba.com/cupofrainref.pdf
