Just wondering if anyone saw hip #'s 3137 and 3140 today?? I didnt see them, but they both sold at 1000 and 1500, which was pretty low for todays horses, I know there were a couple others as well, but these didnt have THAT bad a female family, really, just curious what people thought of the looks, or if there was bad reports etc??

I saw both of them. I didn't write down anything about 3137 and only noted that 3140 was small and looked immature.

The problem with all the horses at Keeneland who aren't bringing much money is that there are too many yearlings being offered and not enough buyers to want them all. Shoppers literally have thousands to choose from and if there's nothing outstanding about a yearling they pass it by.

This current market has a top and it certainly has a bottom, but the middle seems to have disappeared. Nobody wants an inexpensive horse when it's going to cost them so much more than the purchase price to get that horse to the racetrack.
