Thanks everyone...that was absolutely surreal...am still in shock...I wish everyone in this business could experience this the way we did...and we are about to enjoy a beverage or two at the Holiday Inn where we're staying so that it's just a short walk to the room.....and, I might add that we are donating some of this $$ to AC4H for rescuing one of ours that slipped thru the cracks...thanks again....and Marilyn, I am sorry I missed you but do understand...I LOVE KENTUCKY!!

I'm getting home late...but wanted to add my congratulations. Your colt looked great in the ring and as I'm sure you know had many of the big name buyers on him. What a wonderful sale! :)

Congratulations -- so nice to read a good news story. I think the buyers got a good one, and look forward to future updates.

It's nice to get some good news when everything is so negative. I was watching and waiting, hoping you did well. When it passed 200 I got a big smile, as it climbed up it got better and better. Well done, and again, congrats!

Congrats

Congratulations!!!! How exciting for you and how much easier it is to part with the little brats I'm sure when they sell well (HA) - and = this is the GOOD PART I'd guess - a little extra "surprise" for the granddaughter right?

Again, Mare - many, many congrats and kudos for a job well done!!!!

Thanks LB. She is absolutely perfect, except for one glaring issue. Great body, beautiful head... in my opinion, too short legged. I have a sneaking suspicion she will make a very good race horse. A couple inches from a home run?

dray, her grand-dam, Hot Novel, has really made a name for herself already. You never know what kind of racer or broodmare this filly might be.

Actually, we owned the broodmare, QUEEN MAMA. She had a nice Eddington (winnner) and we sold her in foal. She was one of the better investments I have made in the game, and I think she is a very good producer. This MDO colt was somewhat short-legged, but I think will run just fine. I'm tracking this one.
