thanks
Thanks to everyone who posted about the Giant's Causeway/Honey Ryder colt. I have followed that female familly with interest for years, and was basically appalled when I saw the foal went so cheap. I didn't know the inside scoop, though, so appreciate the insight. I still hope the foal has some success. It can't help who consigned it!
I did notice that Honey Ryder's dam, Cuando Quiere, had a Bernardini filly who sold earlier in the session for $400K+. I believe the dam's previous filly, also a Bernardini, went for $300K plus. I just hope they don't ruin Honey Ryder as a broodmare.

The Adena broodmares represented are hardly "culls" but I could believe that physically they were representative of the entire first book compared to previous years.
Casperina
Elloluv
Lady Joanne
Marimba Rhythm
The Storm Cat colt #47 (not theirs) was swaybacked and he still went for 300K so they must be hoping it's just a growth issue.

Boycott, not so sure, the goings on of Adena currently are no different from any other day, really.
I do realize that Mr. Frank is a wee bit of a volatile character, but In many ways he has done a lot for racing. As someone who is a very tiny breeder in Ontario, I am grateful for Adena bringing new stallions to our program as pickings have always been slim for us & they are I believe bringing another 4 new Stallions up in 2011.
The Stallion Station they are building will be terrific for Ontario Breeding. We need all the help we can get.
We have our Ontario bred Colt that didn't sell in the CTHS sale September 7th, hanging out at home right now, not sure what to do with him yet. I really struggle with where the sale should go from here?
Thoughts?

Buyers may be starting to say, "Five foals of racing age and no winners . . . You gotta be kidding me!"
Ahhh, that's the information I missed!
I don't know anything about her foals and I kind of forget it's so many years since she was racing... Now I understand. Thanks
