Thanks :) We'll need it, prices were quite ouchy today. I have heard one peep from our consignor since my girls got there Sunday, I guess if you have horses in the back of the bus the "great communicators" doesnt apply  One call to say they were there, thats it. Had to call keeneland myself to get x-ray report,or that they were there at all, and how they were, etc. Would love to hear a critique, since they do this for a living, before my horse actually gets to the grounds, and a hey, they are doing okay, but oh well. I guess since this is my first time actually sending a horse to Keeneland, (had one at FTa few years ago) I'm just a worry wart, and the consignor isnt going to call me every day and let me know my horse got a carrot today  But still.....

Colicked, 4 weeks before the sale  She displaced her large colon, for whatever crazy reason those things happen, and we couldnt save her. Surgery may have, but her colon was already dying, and that particular filly and 2 months stall rest...negative. SUCKS!!! She looked the best of the 3 I had, but what can you do? Just really sucks, she was a real sweetie, tough, but a sweetie. So the political force goes Sat, and the Alphabet Soup we went ahead and sent to the consignor to get ready for FT in OCT. We are heading to KY tomorrow, knots in my stomach already, the prices SUCK today :)

Awful luck about the Purge filly.

In my experience, today (the last Thursday of the sale) is usually one of the very best "bargain" days. The prices will pick up a bit tomorrow, and then quite a bit on Saturday, as the "weekend shoppers" come out. Best of luck selling your PF filly.
