Keeneland April sale- pinhooker Murray Smith

Postby rudydee » Thu Apr 07, 2011 5:27 pm

A plethora of lightning-fast (or 'warp speed') workouts at today's Keeneland April Sale preview made our job of choosing a winner of our coveted 'Dash For Cash' award a tough one. No fewer than four babies were timed at .09 4/5 for 220 yards, and many others in comparatively pedestrian clockings of :10 and :10 1/5.

In the end we chose MURRAY SMITH as our winning pinhooker. Long known for sending her preview charges in faster-than-a-speeding bullet workouts (she, like all pinhookers, calls them 'breezes') Ms. Smith has consigned a small but select group of two-year-olds to the Keeneland April sale since 1999.

Let's see how they performed for their lucky purchasers:

No doubt- he has a lot of baggage.
But how does that change the dismal race results of horses bought from Ms. Smith at Keeneland's April sale?

Consignors will tell you that they're all Champions when they sell them.

If they don't go on to show that on the track it's because the buyer screwed them up - "Operator Error".

That tells me that if it's an RNA and it under 100K I should make an offer privately because those seem to be the profitable one's :D
