A plethora of lightning-fast (or 'warp speed') workouts at today's Keeneland April Sale preview made our job of choosing a winner of our coveted 'Dash For Cash' award a tough one. No fewer than four babies were timed at .09 4/5 for 220 yards, and many others in comparatively pedestrian clockings of :10 and :10 1/5.
In the end we chose MURRAY SMITH as our winning pinhooker. Long known for sending her preview charges in faster-than-a-speeding bullet workouts (she, like all pinhookers, calls them 'breezes') Ms. Smith has consigned a small but select group of two-year-olds to the Keeneland April sale since 1999.
