I don't know how Thorn Song is in person, but he was sound and a G1 winner. I would consider Thorn Song, Dixie Chatter and Kafwain.

They sound like good choices vally, but I think, think that Thorn Song had surgery, I think.

laminitis -I remember it was something to do with the owner collecting on Insurance and the vet saved him. I think

My favorite Cali stallion is Olympio. The old guy's numbers slid once synthetics were put in but he's extremely solid and his daughters are pretty damn good producers.

Well okay.
Is he standing to Victory Rose?
Let see here....

Keep in mind that if you breed now you are probably looking at a late May or June foal which will be a problem commercially. Eventually you will have miss a year anyway. Why not miss this year and get an early start on the next one?

Olympio will be 24 next year, so I would not count on too much from him. Also, CA is still 75% synthetic, so unless you get an Olympio foal that will be competitive at Santa Anita, he won't do you much good. He also used to be a piece of work, don't know if he still is.

And I just assumed you were asking about breeding for NEXT year (2012), not this year. Sysonby is right, puts the foal at too much of a disadvantage to be so late, unless of course you just want to keep the foal and race it yourself. But I had thought you were talking of possibly selling it.

I believe karenkaren IS looking at 2012. The mare is already in foal on a March 9th cover (she was boarded with me) and has to go to a CAL stallion next year for the current foal to be a CAL-bred..

Anyhow, I Really Like Kafwain. I think he is a good value at his current price and I believe the mare is a Devil's Bag line and he seems to go well with that.

What I'm doing is looking through each of the Stallions progeny, Dams Progeny, Sires Sires Progeny and grand dams progeny ( everyone in the first and second Gen) and looking to see if they have crossed with a Devil His Due, Prized and Devils Bag.
What they did, how they ran ect. I see that Jade Hunter also is working well with Halo and Devils Bag---==
Global Hunter but I'm not to sure about the rumor of him going to Brazil in 2012 or not.
Its alot of work, alot of horses to go through. But if I am going to race and or sell I need to do it. Thats why I posted here. Any positive thought provoking thoughts, ideas are always beneficial.
And plus all of you that has posted knows the mare anyways. If not PM Me.

So what do you guys and gals think about selling to international people that race?
How would anyone contact an international group to sell?

International buyers will contact you if they are interested in something you have. They mainly buy at auction but will track down a mares offspring if it is something that they are interested in..

And just to say it has to be stellar to warrent the import costs.

Tribal Rule seems to outsire his pedigree and race record. Too bad they jumped his fee so unrealistically high. He has improved his mares signficantly.
