great page. I wish the blog writer could have got a photo of the War Emblem offered.. hip 47 is a really cool strawberry roan.

notice how they are all much thinner and not as "juiced" as our yearlings...

Thanks for posting this. I've been interested in Japanese breeding because of being a big fan of Sunday Silence. I had great fun looking through the pictures and hip information.

Two of the hip numbers that I found especially intriguing were #s 93 and 128. #93 is by a Sunday Silence son out of a Red Ransom mare. The blog said the foal was removed from the ring for rearing. Well, duh. Halo on top and Roberto on the bottom- that's a recipe for a rocking horse temperament. :D

It gets even better- #128 has two crosses of Halo, one from the stallion and one from the dam, in addition to a cross of Alleged and a cross of Roberto from the dam. Bet no one turns their backs on that one! :)

I'm a big admirer of deep impact so I have been following what his kids have been doing at the sales. alot is expected of him at stud.

There was one that i saw a picture of that looked like a spitting image of the pampelmoose

hoping for great things from D.I. too

...and from the other stallions from Sunday Silence's sireline. The influence seems to be spreading beyond Japan, now that some of the Japanese horses have won internationally (like the Dubai World Cup this year).

I think the breed needs this sireline badly for diversity. Thanks for posting this. 8)
