No halfway sane trainer will buy from these sales unless they are instructed to do so by their owners. The previews have evolved into speedfests which only cause harm to the animals and good horsemen dont have to be told that.

Hopeless to demand honesty, real care and justice for the horses or the sport...we forget it is not a sport, really, but a game of money....gambling,like cards,roulette,casinos...Sadly we gamble on a live creature, poor horses, concern for them up to the next $...Look at what happens to the losers, the not so fast, not so sound or not so well bred....This is an industry, make no mistake about it,not a sport, not a passion...an industry and it all start with money and ends with it or lack of....Dray,I am not suprised you could not make it with no drugs,no cheating,no lies,no abuse....And if you look back a dozen or more years,Wayne Lukas tried pinhooking yearlings and consigning them in a 2 yo sale without breezing, only real training and good care...It did not end well financially either. And we are talking a famous horseman, wether you like him or not he did win a lot of races and big ones too,and he did have a good eye for horses....
