Paging Penelopy for sale KeeNov

she is listed as a broodmare prospect, as opposed to racing or broodmare prospect. Could she still race after being sold, or is this a pretty definite sign of a necessary retirement?
Better yet, anyone know this horse and her status?

From what I was told by someone it just means they are not "warranting" her as being sound to race but that does not mean someone cannot decide to put her back into training.

My favorite mare at a recent MidAtlantic Mixed sale was selling as a broodmare prospect. She went on to add a bit more blacktype to her catalog page after the sale.

I also was told the 'broodmare prospect' meant the seller didn't have to worry abour warranting racing soundness on a racehorse with track jewelry.

it also means no x-rays or airway scope (cost to seller).

She is back to racing...not doing well, but racing..
