I have seen one Candy Ride in the sales. Where are they?

Getting ready! I had the only one in the Calder Sale, but she needed 45 days off, so we scratched her. She is, however... spectacular, and the real deal. I can't wait. I think CANDY RIDE is gonna be a greeeeat sire.

I have one, Chicktowaga, that is doing very good. Poor conformation, not a looker but smart and is showing some speed. Crossed Fingers. No sales though keeping him to race.

We have one also, Cantonic. He looks a lot like Candy Ride too. He'll start training soon. I'd post a picture, if I knew how to do it.

I too believe that the Candy Rides will be phenomenal. He was unbeaten, winning from 6f - 12f, on turf and dirt, at the highest level, on two continents, shattering a long standing track record in the Pacific G1, when he swept past the 3-5 favorite, Medalga D'Oro.

I am expecting a Candy Ride foal out of my winning Hennessy mare, any day now, so you know I'm biting my nails and keeping my fingers crossed.

Saw a nice Candy Ride filly at OBS Feb, out of War Bride.

We sold a few last year. They were of the "knock your socks off" variety! Gorgeous!

Archy, are you talking about the tiny pic below your name? I didn't see any link to a pic.

zinn21, the picture on our avatar is our mare. It is the picture associated link on the post. I just tested it. It was there.

Solved the mystery Archy. In order to see the pic I had to register. As a guest the pic does not appear..

Rugged looking guy! Good luck with him. I'm a Candy Ride fan..

Reading this topic I think I have the same appreciation for Invasor as you folks have for Candy Ride (I think he was winning prior to my following the "big leagues")

Had a Candy Ride Fold last night - a colt. Walked straight up to us, a few hours old, as if he was in charge and allowed up to pet and pamper him as much as we liked. What a brave little bugger! Will post photos soon.
