Stephanie's Kitten RNA at $3.95 million

Ramsey said he wouldn't take less than $4 million for her, so she will return to their farm for a break, then back to Brown to race. They will try and sell her next year. My question is : how is she going to be worth any more next year? It will be one more year of her breeding years gone. Even if she has a stellar year next year, will she raise in value (ie. auction price)? Is Ramsey just being silly here?
Anyone want to explain this to me?

Imagine that he figures he can make a few hundred g or more racing, and then sell her for relatively the same amount and come out ahead. Probably get his $4M with the combo of purse plus sale price. Has some risk, but also has insurance I imagine.

Get another Gr-1 out of her, put her in foal to Tapit, and sell in November.

there wasn't 1 live bid on Stephs kitten she was bid up by Ramsey to just under his reserve hoping that 1 live bid would buy her, she is a $2m mare all day don't think she is worth $4m.
