Okay, I know Megahertz's offspring haven't done much--although four winners out of six foals with a winner of 200k among them aren't exactly glue factory stats--and I'll be the first to admit that this particular yearling looks like he has some maturing to do... but...
How is it possible that a colt by a top ten stallion (Kitten's Joy) out of a multiple graded stakes winner of 2.2 million (Megahertz) sells for a lousy $6,000? Not RNA'd, but sold.
Did anyone get a better look at him than I did? Is he that much of a train wreck?

I followed Honey Ryder during her race career and followed her also as a broodmare.
Her first offspring was a colt by Giant's Causeway. He sold for $30K as a yearling
and went on to win a total of $40k in his career. I'm not sure what the specific
problems were with the Megahertz foal, but I'm betting the market knew best.
Really disappointing, but that is the racing game.

Scuttlebutt around me is that the whole F-T sale was pretty dismal and disappointing except for the very excited few that got really great deals.

The Kitten's Joy's in general weren't selling all that well in this sale. 6 RNAs, 3 post-sale, and of the 6 that sold in the ring only 3 made equal to or more than the 2013 stud fee and of them only 2 would have been profitable.
That said, it was nothing like the bath sellers who bred to MacLean's Music took....

I noticed the Tizway's also went for cheap in many cases. Disappointing, since I am hoping
Tiznow will be a successful sire of sires.

I noticed Megahertz herself sold at Keeneland for $40K. This can be a really heartbreaking business.

That's a darn shame about the Tizway's. I was hoping to see him be successful at stud.
Average on the ones sold was $11,350.
Two sold for $3,000. Highest price was $40,000. An RNA at $2,000 and $5,500 and $25,000.
I can't see his price staying at $10,000 long.
Tiznow hasn't wowed me as a sire's sire YET. I do like Morning Line and Strong Mandate.
