How much do you think he would have brought. We have the last filly out of his second dam Meesch. Was curious to what he would bring. He was also out of the November sale as well I think.

Also, the 2005 filly (Crown Ambassador x Meesch) we have been told she may be worth 15,000-20,000 right now, after she races and hopefully wins could only go higher. What are some opinions on her value. Is this accurate.

Thank You,
Brian

Hi JoeAngelo,

The foal is probably being entered and then out'd from the sales because of age - he's a June 4th foal. Orientate has sold well but buyers will be picky as his first crop comes of racing age. It's impossible to venture a guess on this foal without seeing him and frankly between foaling date, stallion and the generation difference I don't know that one has any bearing n the other.

There are so many variables in assessing value. If you've been told that a 2005 Crown Ambassador - Meesch is worth $20k it's possible if she's a very nice foal.

As far as increasing her value from racing? Not likely. Any filly that wins stakes races will have increased value but a win or two won't help. Assuming that your filly is well conformed and has 2 wins with $30k in earnings with her pedigree she would be worth less than $20k.

Don't mean to sound vague or negative just trying to give you as straight an answer as possible.

Good luck,

Pete
