Upcoming Under Saddle Sale - LOUISIANA???

Postby jellac » Fri Apr 28, 2006 12:35 pm

I've hearing two different versions of "there's a 2YO under saddle sale coming up in Louisiana, next few weeks", but can't find anything on the web about this at all:

VERSION # 1) it's for La-breds only

VERSION # 2) it's open to all TB 2YOs

I need to know:

-- IS there really such a sale?
-- When & where it will be (Comments as to condition of track/facilities welcome)
-- Who to contact about an entry but only if it's open to non-State bred 2YOs.

Finally if there is anyone who's been to this sale or has a comment to make on what sort of prices/interest to expect, I'd also appreciate that insight.

Thanks in advance for any/all help - PMs also appreciated.

Katie,

She was in foal last year but she must of slipped somewhere down the road. We are thinking Sept or Oct when the hurricanes came thru she probably slipped. She was waist deep in water when the hurricanes blew over. She was bred last month and we ultrasounded her twice in the last 3 weeks and both times the vet said she was in foal. So cross your fingers this time.

Ugh. Fingers crossed for you!
My mare slipped at some point too, so I feel your pain!
