I recently picked up a horse that xrays were done on today, but I didn't speak directly to the vet yet. Apparently nothing serious, but not great either.
Lots of calcification in left front ankle. You can see it in the front of the ankle. Also a suspensory on the same ankle.
So my question is, is there anything that will decrease that calcification to make it less 'ugly'??? I know what to do for the suspensory, and it doesn't look bad anyways, but the ankle is pretty icky looking with that large bump.
I seem to remember there might be a supplement or *something* that is rumored to work.
decreasing calcification?
