Ulcer's

I have an older mare I suspect has ulcer's she is retired and stands in a paddock all day, she bites at the air with ears pinned and crosses her back legs like to "itch" hind cannon bones, she is boareded with me) I heard Aloe vera juice, but how much should I give her?

1 cup of aloe vera juice in their 5-gallon water bucket every day or every other day. Is suppose to help the horse's skin condition as well.

I have not used it but would be interested to know if you have any success with it.

From what I read on the subject most ulcers can be healed over a 1 month period if it gets worse.
