I am assuming your mare developed lymphangitis as a result of the cellulitis? Unfortunately, horses that have had this once are more prone to reoccurences for the rest of their life. Scar tissue often builds up in the affected leg causing permanent swelling. If you combine diuretics with the antibiotics that often helps speed up recovery.
As a precaution you should treat any leg wounds big or small aggressively to prevent another bout of cellulitis and/or lymphangitis. If possible keep her outside 24/7 or as much as possible to help prevent her legs from stocking up and when she is stabled keep stable wraps on. Alternate cold/hot therapy to increase circulation, etc. Try to insure that her immune system is working optimally by keeping her healthy and stress free.
Good luck and speedy recovery to your mare

It is amazing how much their legs can swell when they are affected
I can only imagine how painful it must be. I would inquire about giving your mare naquasone. I have always used the boluses (which are a pita if you don't have a mortar and pestle). You can also get injectable naquasone or a compounded paste (much easier).
As for dandelion leaves I don't see how they could hurt. They do have the qualities your mare needs (diuretic/detoxifier - the roots ) plus they are delicious to horses
