Bone Spurs

Hi Guys,

I have a just turned 3 year old filly at the breakers right now. She has come up lame at a gallop but fine when walking. Exrays have revealed bone spurs on the hock. What can you tell me about this condition and the treatments if there are any current ones.

people get them on the heel its painful.
Doc. file them off still painful.
not sure about horses. :?
