I want to set up an area that is currently a clay base. And wondered if You would recommend a Sand only material to go on top or a Sand/Top soil combination. I was concerned that an all Sand footing would be too abrasive on their feet over time?Also a truck load of Sand is 294.00 for this area. Top soil is around 90.00 to 110.00.
