Very good for clearing out mucus pre-race. No cons that I am aware of.

thanks Laurierace. Was told it worked well for getting rid of mucus. Some else has suggested that it is also good for bleeders?

You could possibly make the arguement that getting rid of excess mucus could make them less likely to bleed as the air moves in and out a little freer but that is not its normal use.
