Lasix vs. Kentucky Red

Postby griff » Thu Jun 17, 2010 6:39 am

Is there a problem with administering Kentucky Red [Carbazochrome] the day before a race and then administering Lasix [Furosemide] the day of the race?

None at all...except you're wasting your money on the Kentucky Red by giving it the day before. That far out, the effects will be minimal at best.

There isn't any physical problems that I know of by giving all those meds at once but they aren't legal in all jurisdictions so you would have to look into that.
