Karen, has she spent much time in a pasture at all? She looks like she was raised in a small paddock. If that is in fact the case I would definitely get her in a pasture no smaller than 6 acres with other horses. She needs to run and toughen up. Breaking her next spring is fine with me. I wouldn't put more than 45 days into her then kick her back out to pasture.

Again I am not sure of her pasture circumstances but if she has not galloped around in a big pasture she will be soft boned and very problematical to stand hard training. You will need to stress her and back off and play catch up if she was raised in a small confined situation thus far. At this point she needs a big grassy pasture with some buddies to scuffle with the sooner the better.

I can do that absolutly I have a place that is going to turn her out. If that is everyone point- that can be done.!
