Has anyone out there ever used Vetericyn?
Any experience with it?
I have a two year old colt that gets into accidents and he become violent when anyone touches him.

Well I am a bit disturbed the the comment about getting violent when touched. That obviously needs to be fixed immediately. Anyway here is a link to more info that you would ever want about the product. To summarize, it is a weak bleach solution. Try alushield.

If you handle that 2 yr old on a daily basis he'll tolerate being handled when he has a wound that needs caring for. If you can't do routine horse care on a daily basis and he is an unhandled colt then call the vet and have him tranquilize him to do wound care. Fix whatever it is he's getting into and hurting himself on so frequently. No barbed wire. No hogwire fencing. No farm implements in the field with him. Make his pen as safe as if he were a 2 yr old child.
