I would not ship a mare until 60-90 days in foal.

She is a very easy shipper...I hauled her from TX myself..very calm the whole time..we stopped after 11 hrs the first day....had heavy rain & traffic delays,,,she ate up..next morning about 6 hrs,,,she was perfect

we just shipped a mare 48 hours after she ovulated from KY back to her owner in FL. She had a foal at her side, both arrived fine and she is now 15 days in foal.
