Possums eat all kinds of things. They are fairly primitive creatures, and have a lower body temperature and a smaller brain than other animals their size. They do a useful service in eating remains of other animals.

They don't have permanent burrows, and may not be seen year after year.

They look much creepier than they are.

Because of their lower body temperature, they are less likely to be carrying rabies than other mammals.

Lower body temp or not they are the source of the EMP parasite.

And if you ever see a in-oal brood mare with EMP you will not want to see another.
