Postby Shadow » Sun Dec 04, 2005 6:24 am

I'm trying to find a place that sells Lysine, and I'm having no luck, Does anyone know of a place that sells it?

Thank you

You can get lysine from any health food store or even drug stores carry it. You can crush the human tabs to powder quite easialy and they have no flavor so I'm sure it will be consumed by any horse as a feed additive. By the way what are you useing it for?

Shadow had the EHV -2 and the vet suggested that I put him on Lysine
to help his immune system, in hopes that he doesn't get the EHV again.

Thanks for the info.

For what it's worth, lysine occurs naturally in significant concentrations in soybeans.
