cornell collar

Has anyone used a cornell collar for racing. It sounds like a good idea but expensive enough to solicit opinions before purchasing.
Thanks

Hi Meg,
Are you permitted to use it in Ohio? There are a few states that have already banded it. I haven't tried it, but in theory I think it might work.

I can use the cornell collar in WV at Mountaineer Park. I had to give up racing in Ohio years ago- no money there. I am asking the company for three contacts in thoroughbred racing so I can ask my own questions. I'll post replies.

I know that Gary Contessa who is stabled in NY was part of the study when Cornell did it. You might try writing to him. Don't know if he's in Fla at this moment tho. Check the entries to determine that. Then just write to the racing office (in care of Gary Contessa). Please let me know how it goes.
