foal braces

if you read the post about the heritage sale, i purchased a little cape canaveral colt. http://www.pedigreequery.com/index.php? ... EST+FEALTY

anyway, it was a purchase of pitty. poor little guy is so conformationaly messed up. he wore braces on his legs as a foal to correct knock knees. he turned out fairly straight but his knees are enlarged and white from the procedure. what is the success rate with foals who have this applied? does it weaken the knees? he also is very narrow between his hocks and has a very straight back. is this typical of Cape Canaveral? i will have to ad he is the sweetest little thing just begs to please you.
There will be discouraging times. But a life without horses;
Now that's discouraging.
