And he is breeding on so well, being that he is a gelding. I thought you weren't tracking the geldings?

The following stallions have passed on their stamina to Frankel.

Prince John, Stage Door Johnny=Prince Rose
Herbager=Dark Ronald
Ribot=Rabelais
Agio, Lombard=Teddy
Nearco, Nearctic, Rainbow Quest, Sadlers Wells, Native Dancer=Ph.

Frankel has inherited a balance of speed thru Ph. & stamina of NP.

Louis

I believe the following mares may also have contributed to Frankel's stamina

Urban Sea
Kind
Rockfest
Razyana

Frankel's status as a Fashion Bred has not hindered him in becoming the world's number 1 rated horse.

8 gr 1,s, the best horsesince a long time, better than dancing brave.

He is racing clean, his trainer is an horseman, he does not rush the horse all is coming at the time. and he is racing over big hilly left handed turf tracks with mostly 1 bend and an long straight.

ND 3x4 Natalma 4x5x5 HTR 1x etc Native dancer through ND.

This will result in lots of breeding with the next patron 4x5x5 ND or even more. Like 3x4x4x4.

He is advocating much more inbreeding while he is appealing.

Bye Bye Louis.

For every Frankel, there are many imposters, that cant make the class grade. I wont guess how many FB matings failed to lite the fuse. On a FB curve, those matings are creating boys to do the work of men. Congrats to Frankel's breeder, in the breeding of a Champion.

That is likewise, there are failing 100 000 horse to produce one top horse, but it keeps appealing, and he has made a name for himself racing as an four yr old.

So your theory, or opinion, will face stiff opposition from others than me.

Overhere we do not train young three year olds in pieces.

I,ll have another gone Union Rags gone, Bodemeister gone, hansen gone,

Paynter remains to be seem. A large part from this group is coming from the santa anita track btw and californian race medication rules.

So long

U.S. Champion 2 yr-old.
Set a new track record at Keeneland, 4f in 0:48 1/5.
Sent to Ireland in 1973.
Sent to Australia in 1976 - only stood one season.
Ridan got his unusual name because he reminded his owners of champion Nadir, whom they also raced. Ridan is Nadir spelled backwards.

RIDAN b. H, 1959
Nantallah---Rough Shod, by Gold Bridge

R was a NFB being inbred 5 X 5 Sir Gallahad III=Teddy---5 X 5 Orby=Orby---3 X 5 Blandford=Swynford

R was bred froma NFB mating of Ph. over Orby
R had 15 crosses NP stallions, out of a possible 16
R had 16 crosses NP mares out of a possible 16

This was the way our tbs were bred before the arrival of those FB in the mid 80s.
In R time our tbs inherited their soundness from their prolific crosses of NP sire lines. They were not injured in great numbers in their 2 & 3 yr. old season like our FB in the present.

Ben: I welcome my critics, as i like competition, it brings out the best of me. There are many roads that lead to Rome, those breeders that dont dig deep enough, are missing the pieces of the puzzle.

Louis

You think that posters on this thread want to compete with you and your theories, that might explain your need to post the same information over and over and over. Frankel is a once in a lifetime horse, maybe a once in a century horse, who knows, he is classified as a Fashion Bred according to your theory.

As to "lite the fuse" and Fashion Bred failures, according to Equibase figures, in 2011 there were 65,999 starters, only 1,317 of those starters earned 100K or more. 4,834 of those starters earned 50K or more during the racing year. It depends on your definition of success versus failure, but in my opinion these numbers are an indication that there are many more failures than superior runners be they Fashion Bred or Non-Fashion Bred.
