Most of all the trainers today, give their tbs small amounts of med, to train & race. Those NFB dont receive the baby amounts of med, as they are tougher & soundner individuals. I had many trainers tell me, if those FB didnt receive their med, there would be no racing.

Our breed is changing, I am not finding all those type 1 FB in great numbers, like i found a decade ago. I am finding those NFB with Prolific crosses of Ph. stallions. Thats why those NFB are having soundness problems.

In todays time frame, the breed has shifted from, 6--14 crosses of Ph. stallions in the past, to 22 or more crosses of Ph. stllions in the present.
