Question: Cross Confusion

Postby Granada » Fri Feb 01, 2008 12:24 pm

Please forgive me for my ignorance, I'm a newbie and haven't been able to find this info on the web:

My horse Bold Words2 is line bred to Bold Ruler 3Sx4D (I think) and also has Nearco separately: Nearco 4DSx7DDx7DD. is this correct? I'm confused as to when to count lines when they are also behind other crosses. Any clarification would really help me. I love to look at pedigrees and am interested in TB jumping/sport lines out of curiosity, as my horse is a handy, athletic jumper and Thoroughbreds are the breed I like to ride most :)

Thank You for your interest and help!

habitat, thank you for posting. I very much appreciate it.
