just for you color people.Federal League who died last year was mostly bred to paint,warmbloods,quarter mares.anyway to make it short all paint breeders know how hard it is to make sure you get really colored foals well ..except 2 ..all his foals were very paints...with solid or colored mares...he was a plain bai,i suspect the twice hyperion cross in his pedigree might have done the trick but i do not know much about color i am just telling this for infos.
