Tanslocation

Postby Shammy Davis » Sat Apr 04, 2009 7:12 am

Check out the latest EQUINE DISEASE QUARTERLY (April 2009/Vol 18, #2) and the discussion on "translocation." Very interesting. We waste a great deal of energy on fertility meds for barren mares, when a simple blood sample might provide the answer to a mare's infertiliy and potential productivity. You're right, that is an interesting article. It could explain not only why some mares have spotty produce records, but also some stallions too.
