New to the forum and thoroughbred racing pedigrees. What are your thoughts on my 2 girls pedigrees. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
"Bold Little Nikki" Bold Executive x Always Sunny and "Shanghai Fury" Kiridashi x Brave Passing.

What are you wanting to do with them?

Race?
Breed to sale?
Breed to race?

We are planning on breeding warmblood. I was wondering how strong of a race pedigree they actually have as I am not familiar with the race terminology.

They have pretty fair female side for racing stock, but I wouldn't plan on breeding something and hoping to sale it for 100K out of them.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I assume you are in Canada? Both are by good well bred racehorses. Bold Executive is the highest priced stallion standing in Canada, and Always Sunny has proven useful when bred to Canyon Creek who was a dud at stud. Kiridashi was a super racehorse who could run on anything, but did not do well at stud despite a few stars. He is now in AB. Neither mare would have much commercial value as dams of racehorses. I would not attempt to breed a foal to sell at a TB yearling sale. There are some runners in the pedigree, but the first and second dams have not produced well despite having every chance.

If however, you are breeding sport horses for yourself, nothing about either mare would turn me off. The Always Sunny filly has a half bro who is a lovely guy. He won four races, did a little steeplechasing, and now I believe he is a hunter. Pretty good for having a sire most would shoot. ;) I believe the other mare's dam has eventers. If you are really curious, I can look further for you as I am just going on what I have noticed as I am somewhat familar with both families.

I would be more interested with what they look like, how they move, jump and what discipline you are aiming for. :)
