Has anyone done any research on how the Discovery daughters did when their descendants were crossed with each other? It seems that most of the current sire lines trace back to one Discovery daughter or another.

Discovery is a regular fixture in back pedigree now via daus. Geisha, Miss Disco, and/or My Recipe, the dams of Native Dancer, Bold Ruler, and Intentionally. It's not uncommon to find one or more occurrences of all three in the pedigree of a runner at any level of competition, or to find dau. Traffic Court added to the mix via Hasty Road. But as far as close inbreeding is concerned, back in the day when Discovery was still regularly found in the middle of 5 gen. peds. the only G1SWs I can think of that were inbred to him via daus. were Ruffian (4Sx5sx4D Discovery, 5sx6sx4d Sir Gallahad) and her sire Reviewer's full sister Queen of the Stage (3sx4D Discovery, 4Dx5d Sir Gallahad). Reviewer was MG2SW and placed at G1. Two of his other three full siblings were SWs.
