Hello, Elles,
many thanks for your reply.

I had a look at Sires Standing at Darley (published at our breeders Magazine "Vollblut"). At the Moment the have 2 Sires standing carrying Ahonoora: Charming Thoughts (Oasis Dream-Annabelle's Charm by Indian Ridge) and Profitable (Invincible Spirit-Dani Rich by Indian Ridge)

In your various Posts you mentioned "Ladykiller" (by Sailing Light), an enormous influential Sire in Warmbloodbreeding. Of more interest is his damline, he traces to "Boiarinia" (a hard to pronouce name and shows some similarity with "La Troienne"), from the damline is the Sire Mazarin, who in turn is the Sire of Matador and Sire of Sallust-Tap on Wood-Sanedtki-Rappa Tap Tap (good Broodmare) and via Sedulous-So Sedulous, dam of Shiroco, Subiaco. On the other end of the World, I discovered one more relative Blueskin (by Blue Peter), exported to NZ.

regards, Bettina

Hello Bettina, that is one of the best female families around:

Thank you for mentioning those two Darley stallions.

I am curious what this stallion is going to produce: http://www.tarastud.ie/stallions/alheba ... record.php
He has Ahonoora twice in his pedigree.

Hello,
it's quite an old thread.

I have noted Animal Kingdom (by Leroidesanimaux o/o Dalicia) carries Ahonoora. Unfortunately he stand in Australia at the wellknown and famous "Arrowfield Stud". Recently he had his first AUS Group I winner "Peaceful State".

Hello, Elles,
when I checked the peds of the 'English Classic 3 year old Races' I came across Masar (New Approach-Kwahlah by Cape Cross), 3rd placed in the 2000 Guineas. Well, he is bred 3x4 Ahoonora + 3x4 Allegretta (from Alveole Family).

Hello, Elles,
when I went through peds of 3 year olds in Germany (German 2000 Guineas)
I spot 2 more Sires carrying Ahonoora.
Harbour Watch (Acclamation-Gorband by Woodman)already retired from breeding, his damsire is Ahonoora, See 'Malakeh'.
Amico Fritz (Fasliyev-Arctioc Appeal by Ahonoora), bred in Germany, from Alveole Family, See 'Love Connection'. Amico Fritz stands in France.

Hello, Elles,
many thanks for your Response.

As it happens I saw one more Sire with Ahonoora, this time in Australia, so it's very unlikely to find him in European peds. His ame is Towkay (Last Tycoon-Princess Tracy by Ahonoora).
As it turned out "Princess Tracy" was a very good broodmare and Blacktype Producer. Other descents, Standing as Sires in AUS are:
Danasinga (by Danehill), Master of Design (by Redoute's Choice), Red Element (by Red Ransom), Last Typhoon (by Street Cry), Shaft (by Flying Spur) Prince Arthur (by Danehill).
My Research revealed from the same the damline is Bletchley Park (by Caerleon), he is o/o FS Enigma, th FS of Prince Tracy and was exported to Australia.

Hello, Elles,
when i checked the Pedigree of "Wai Key Star" (by Soldier Hollow) wion a Group 3 race at baden-baden this s eason. He carries Ahonoora in his damline, see Waky Na. her best offspring was Waky Nao (Alzao), went through various studs and ended up in Ireland. From the same branch are in Germany, Wheredreamsare, Waky Love etc.

Thank you for all the information Bettina. The Ahonoora line can be found regularly and still seems rather popular. In some cases via the sireline, so maybe the sireline will stay alive.

Hello,
I Know it's a pretty old thread about the Sire "Ahonoora", but some good news.

Interestingly, I spot his name in the "English 1000 Guineas Winner" Cachet (Aclaim - Poyle Sophie by Teofilo).
She is bred 4x4 Ahonoora + 4x4 Danehill.

regards, Bettina
