Before I give my interpretation of how the parental sire line descendants of Mr Prospector and the sire lines that do not feature the names of Northern Dancer nor Mr Prospector, fare out in future, I still have some data to give relating to the Northern Dancer sire line, now if I had of had the understanding that I acquired after the years 2006 and 2009 I most likely would have advised on the use of every son of Northern Dancer that retired to stud who also passed my Racing Post test.
Remember I claim that Northern Dancer is the thoroughbred similar evolutionary equivalent of the racing greyhound Hi There and Galileo is the thoroughbred similar evolutionary equivalent of the racing greyhound Monalee Champion.
Now the two most influential sons of Hi There were Crazy Parachute http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=8hEJl ... &x=33&y=11 and Prairie Flash http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=8hEJl ... &x=31&y=15 and as you can see that the sire of the mother of Crazy Parachute was by a greyhound called Mad Tanist and the sire of the mother of Prairie Flash was by Mad Tanist’s son The Grand Champion, so one can write that the sire’s of both the mothers of Crazy Parachute and Prairie Flash were closely related.
Now the two most influential sons of Monalee Champion were Itsachampion http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=8hEJl ... &x=25&y=12 and Lindas Champion http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=8hEJl ... &x=26&y=10 and as you can see that the sire of the mother of Itsachampion was by a greyhound called Knock Hill Chieftain and the sire of the mother of Lindas Champion was by a greyhound called Hack Up Fenian.
As both Knock Hill Chieftain and Hack Up Fenian were not from the same immediate parental sire line I think it would be best for me to advise on every son of Galileo that retires to stud who has also passed my Racing Post test and that includes the likes of Teofilo, New Approach and Frankel so far.
Now even with the all the sons of Northern Dancer and Galileo that passed my Racing Post test first of all, included in the animals that I have highlighted there will be far more animals that have not been highlighted that will also have passed my Racing Post test.
You had the likes of Caerleon, Royal Academy, Storm Cat, Danehill, Polar Falcon and any of their sons that passed my Racing Post test but were not highlighted also, remember we had Montjeu and In The Wings both sons of Sadlers Wells and I would not have realized about El Prado until his sons did well at stud.
So let’s now concentrate on the parental sire line descendants of Mr Prospector and the sire lines that do not feature the names of neither Northern Dancer nor Mr Prospector, remember I also wrote that Mr Prospector is the thoroughbred similar evolutionary equivalent of Champion Prince.
Without giving an explanation so to how it was done let me write that I worked out that Machiavellian or possible Smart Strike were the thoroughbred versions of Pigalle Wonder, The Grand Prince and Solar Prince, now in 1974 Temlee was actually racing in Australia and he did not come into my calculations at all and below I shall give the parental sire lines of the 14 feature event winners that I was able to find for 1974 stretching back to Champion Prince.

5 feature event winner’s 2 feature event winner’s 1 feature event winner

YANKA BOY SILVER HOPE
CLONALVY PRIDE CLONALVY PRIDE FAITHFUL HOPE
SOLAR PRINCE SOLAR PRINCE SOLAR PRINCE
CHAMPION PRINCE CHAMPION PRINCE CHAMPION PRINCE

1 feature event winner 2 feature event winners 2 feature event winners

OWN PRIDE (H T) TOMS PAL IVY HALL FLASH
ALWAYS PROUD YANKA BOY PROUD LINCOLN
CLONALVY PRIDE CLONALVY PRIDE CLONALVY PRIDE
SOLAR PRINCE SOLAR PRINCE SOLAR PRINCE
CHAMPION PRINCE CHAMPION PRINCE CHAMPION PRINCE

1 feature event winner

RUSSIAN GUN
PIGALLE WONDER
CHAMPION PRINCE

Now as you can see 13 of those winners had Champion Prince’s son Solar Prince on their parental sire lines as well with 12 also having Solar Prince’s son Clonalvy Pride on their parental sire lines also, his other son Faithful Hope providing the other feature event winner and although Castledown Lad was 4 – removes back along the parental sire lines of both Clonalvy Pride and Faithful Hope he was not present on their maternal sire lines as well.
So if Machiavellian is the thoroughbred version of Pigalle Wonder and The Grand Prince as I think he is the question I had to ask myself was is Machiavellian the thoroughbred similar evolutionary equivalent of Solar Prince as well or is Smart Strike the thoroughbred version of Solar Prince?
Remember Solar Prince was the sire of the mothers of both Spectre http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?i=218720&z=CvC1WU and The Grand Silver http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?d=the+g ... &x=27&y=13 I have to ask myself have their thoroughbred versions already have been produced or have they still to be produced or even is there ever going to be thoroughbred similar evolutionary equivalents to both these influential sires Spectre and the Grand Silver?
At the present time in Europe Dubawi http://www.pedigreequery.com/dubawi is the most successful parental sire line descendant of Mr Prospector he has been the runner up to Galileo in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and he was 3rd in 2014 but on looking at his pedigree his sire Dubai Millennium has Northern Dancer on his maternal sire line and Dubai Millennium has Mr Prospector 2 – removes back along his parental sire line.
As a matter of fact Northern Dancer is also on the maternal sire lines of those other successful parental grandsons of Mr Prospector like Elusive Quality http://www.pedigreequery.com/elusive+quality Distorted Humor http://www.pedigreequery.com/distorted+humor and the new kid on the block Curlin http://www.pedigreequery.com/curlin .
I cannot recall seeing any leading racing greyhound parental grandson of Champion Prince who also has Hi There on their maternal sire lines funny I have only just noticed that the name of Sir Ivor can be found on the maternal sire lines of the dams of both Elusive Quality and Curlin while Mr Leader another parental sire line descendant of Turn-To can be found on the maternal sire line of Distorted Humor.
So is thoroughbred evolution up to its old tricks again of implementing the same evolutionary manoeuvres in a slightly different fashion a way that would be impossible for me to anticipate is for instance Dubai Millennium the thoroughbred version of Clonalvy Pride http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=GkFBj ... &x=33&y=14 ?
I shall have watch all of this very closely indeed but as Machiavellian has already done it he has to be considered the thoroughbred version of Pigalle Wonder and The Grand Prince, now let’s have a look again at the pedigrees of Head Bound http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=GkFBj ... &x=33&y=14 and Tullymurry Act http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?z=GkFBj ... &x=25&y=13 you can see that Head Honcho, Walkabout Sid, Brother Fox, Little Blade, Temlee, Tivoli Chief, Tivoli Dreamer and Pigalle Wonder occupy the parental sire lines of both animals.
As there is no Hi There on the maternal sire lines of Pigalle Wonder, Tivoli Dreamer, Tivoli Chief and Temlee I have to assume that there will be no Northern Dancer on the maternal sire lines of their racehorse versions.
That is one reason why I believe that Street Cry could be the thoroughbred similar evolutionary equivalent of Tivoli Dreamer or is Unbridled that horse well I have my favourite, now if for instance I had known that a son of Sadlers Wells was going to be the thoroughbred version of Monalee Champion and also that the maternal great grandsire of that animal was going to be by Mr Prospector I would surely have been advising people to breed their Machiavellian mares to Sadlers Wells.
In the brilliant thoroughbredhorsepedigreequery website there are 13 racehorses bred this way 6 male and 7 female the best racehorse being the Queens filly Flight of Fancy who was second in the 2001 Epsom Oaks but I cannot determine whether it could be considered a successful cross or not, I know that the cross did not produce the thoroughbred version of Monalee Champion.
I think I shall divide this last post into two and I shall continue with this post shortly.
