Sparks Can Fly

He is a friend of mine's homebred gelding.

Based on his bloodlines how do you think he would do on the turf?

Hi Kriss

The average "conduit mare profile" of champion turf horses (in America) since 1950 is:
5-4-5-8-5, speed/stamina = 9/13 an Index of 0.87, and triads of 14-17-18.
The profile for your friends horse is: 7-3-3-8-6, 10/14, 0.83, and 13-14-17.
Your friends horse is also traces tail female to the conduit mare, Dazzling, the same as Northern Dancer, Danehill, Skywalker, and Halo, all of whom have produced good grass runners. Most good grass horese seem to have heavy concentrations in the Stout category. I would say this gelding might like the grass.
