Three years ago I purchased Easy Greasy (
http://www.pedigreequery.com/index.php? ... SY+GREASY2) as a broodmare to cross with QH hunt seat horses. She is 16HH and weighs ~1150 pounds. She was unraced due to a divorce. Recently, someone looked at this mare's pedigree and said she was being wasted on hunt seat horses. Her dam, Swoon Me won $43000 total (15 wins in 85 starts) over 7 seasons. I don't have any specific info about the sire Tarnish Pride but was told he was moderately successful, perhaps even winning a minor stakes race. I chose Easy Greasy as a hunter type broodmare based on her balance, stout conformation and the longevity and durability shown in the dam's race record. So far I have been very pleased with the babies.
Please share your comments on: 1.) Suitability of Easy Greasy as a racing broodmare. 2.) Your interpretation of her pedigree 3.) Any comments you can make about the x-factor analysis as I have no understanding of this. 4. ) Anything else you think I need to know.
Thanks
