Need some info on TB!

Postby BackToBasics » Mon Nov 19, 2007 2:22 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for all the information I can get on my friends old OTTB.
He'll be 27 this Febuary, and he's the most important thing in her life. I want to get everything on him, track records, sire and dam records, photos of him racing, the whole 9 yards if possible.
His registerd name is Ruggy's Kin, sire's name is Kinsman Hope and his dam is Rugged Unit.

I would really appreciate all the help guys, I want to put everything into a nice book or something for Christmas for her. :) thanks guys

Wow! Thank you! Any more information on Ruggy's Kin?
Also what does Kinsman Hope's record: 29 Starts: 12 - 7 - 3, $176,110 mean? I don't watch racing, so I wont understand alot of stuff, lol.

All the info I could find on Ruggy's Kin is that he raced four times, never finishing in the top three, and earned $324. That means the chances of there being photos of him racing rather slim, I'm afraid.

Also what does Kinsman Hope's record: 29 Starts: 12 - 7 - 3, $176,110 mean?

It means that he raced 29 times, won twelve of those races, finished second seven times and third three times. $176,110 is his total earnings. :)

Hi, as stated Ruggy's Kin raced only 4 times

He finished 7th, 12th, 4th, and 6th

dates and tracks as follows:

August 1, 1984 in the 4th race at Woodbine

August 8, 1984 in the 4th race at Fort Erie

Sept. 21, 1984 in the 1st race at Woodbine

June 7, 1986 in the 4th race at Fort Erie

Maaaaaaaaaaybe you could get lucky and find someone who has an old program from one of those, but I don't know what else you could hope to find.

Breeder of the horse was Mrs. Muriel S. Hill in Ontario but hard to know what age of person that would have been 26 years ago.
