Yesterday was absolutely beautiful and spring-like here. Took the puppy for a walk at lunch :D .

Today is in the 50's with gusty winds, but I'll still take it. I do wish some of the mud would dry up but we've got more rain headed our way, so it's not looking too good for that!

West Central Florida where I am is balmy.....clear and 72 degrees....love it love it love it! We're expecting a lil rain tomorrow or so, but it's not supposed to get cold again.

71 here monday. Yesterday we were around 60, and today it's like 50 without the wind, with it it's like 40. I'm COLD!!!These warm days are spoiling me, not to mention muddy. But I'll take the mud, i think the horses will too.Mine rip their round bale to shreds and make one big bed when it's cold.LOL :D

A friend of mine nearly lost his very best mare to a hayring.

They had only one round bale left that day, I believe, and put it in the mare paddock. Unfortunately, there was a LOT of mares, and his very good mare got driven into jumping into the hayring. She got her hind legs caught up, ended up nearly dying.

Thats awful madelyn. If there is anything for a horse to get hurt on, then they will. I use to have a pony that was in the hayring every morning, for his own enjoyment.

LOL I know but I'm going to be down to one horse in a couple months, and my horses would rather stay in the hay than in the barn, (saves me cleaning poo)at night, especially susey,(the one that will still be here) I think she sleeps 10 hours of daylight plus the night time. Everytime we look out the window she's sprawled out.She was laying on her back the other day with her feet propped up across sweetie who was laying beside her.LOL  i have odd horses........ Think I'm going to join everyone else in coming to your place though bondama.... you got room for 3 more?[/quote]
