the 5th race is a very interesting race.

anyone who reads my post know how much of an etched fan I am but I could see him loosing this race, and still being the best horse on the trail, becasue Honour Devil if he was in america would be on the same level as a war pass IMHO.

i'm still going to go with etched however.

royal vintage scares me alot. unbeaten but unbeaten on turf. world class trainer who knows how to spot them.

on a nother note, I counted 11 different countries represented in this days races and that's not including any asian horses.

once again showing just how secluded and out of touch american horse racing is and just how out of touch it's fans are.

Any 3yo that is in Dubai prior to Derby will never factor in the KY Derby. Theyve done the same thing for years and it just doesnt work. Etched fate is sealed and I wouldnt be surprised at all if he lost

i love how you skew facts foggy. you didn't mention that most 3YO's in dubai are southern hemisphere 3YO's meaning by our standards they are actually 4 and even if they wanted to (see asiatic boy and invasor, who lost the UAE derby and won the breeders cup classic in the same year) they coudln't run in the derby.

of all the wonders the only real gripe I have is discreet cat and why he didn't run in the derby. in hindsight i kinda see why.

I didnt know I needed to explain 2yo being bought privately, removed from the United States, and trained in Dubai as 3yo, with Derby dreams. I thought you followed the game, my mistake.

He's a stone cold runner, Ill-bred. But once they bought him from Gary and put him on a plane, his doom was sealed.

Yeah - there was no race in the book for him, so he went to Dubai.
