The headstall looks nice but I'll bid on it only if you guarantee me that Hubby or sonny will be doing the work of getting it packaged and sent out. I don't want to be party to your trying to drive left footed next week.

The postman picks up here. But no worries, I don't actually expect folks to buy stuff out of pity.

The hard part actually is cleaning up and photographing all the stuff, and my son has helped a lot.

It's the worst possible time of year, mares to foal, mares to breed, etc. Can't walk. Time for a few more primal screams to relieve tension.

Hey Madelyn, hang in there. Somehow you will get through all of this, especially with the help of your husband and your son.

I hope that some more people will start bidding on things. It is easy, and fun for those of you who have yet to try Ebay. I am bidding -- NOT OUT OF PITY -- but in support of someone on this forum, who has provided me with interesting information and insightful analysis for quite some time. Any bids are a small price to pay for all that you and this virtual community have to offer.

I haven't been here for a while, so I was sorry to read about your events.
Hang in there, and things are bound to right themselves quickly. Nature doesn't care for vacuums, so good usually comes after bad to even the score.

Thanks everyone.. surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning I WILL BE SO GLAD TO GET THAT OVER WITH.

You are in my thoughts Madelyn as you go through this journey. I walked a similiar path 2 years ago, and although difficult, I survived and can look back and say I'm a stronger person for going through it.

I hope your surgery was quick and successful. You are going thru my worse fear, a broken leg in the spring! Do everything the Dr's say and get better fast!!!

Well once the fibula got straightened out and the ankle put right in its socket, he found the tibia WAS broken (which I always thought it was...) but I guess it's all done.

I'm shaky and woozy and my leg is all numb, but it's OVER!!
